Chris Snook of new UK outfit Madison Genesis has just been racing the likes of Bradley Wiggins, Tyler Farrar, Alejandro Valverde and Tony Martin in Challenge Mallorca, but he’ll be back in the office catching up with emails on Monday morning. How does he manage to combine racing at a high level with holding down a fulltime job? We caught up with him at his team training camp on Mallorca after the race to find out.

Holiday in Mallorca

Hi,

Need advice on which area to stay in Mallorca. Looking for beach as well as access to possible road cycling adventure (I'll have to go alone or book day trip with ?, as hubby doesn't ride). We may also rent a car but someone told me bus services are cheap and well linked to the sites. Any advice about places to eat and see would also be welcomed.

Thanks! Oh, we are booking a last minute type of deal to visit in 1st or 2nd week of August for a whole 2 wks so we have time to play, relax and play again!

...we saw a lady cyclist with her shorts round her ankles having an unashamed tinkle in the long grass by the side of the road. At least amid much boyish giggling, we think it's just a tinkle, and it emerges that this kind of entertainment isn't an upcharge on the holiday, just an unexpected extra on this Trek Travel Ride Camp in Mallorca.
