Storck Long Sleeve Jersey - Pro
The new Storck Long Sleeve Jersey Pro is a really high-quality top with a luxurious feel – although the price will deter many.
Clearly, £149 is a lot of money for a cycling jersey. We know that – we've not lost all sense of proportion just yet. But this is a very good jersey.
The Pro is mostly polyamide (nylon) with polypropylene, elastane and carbon in there. That doesn't tell the whole story, though, because Storck use several different types of fabric here.
Cervo Rosso Strada CX long sleeve jersey
Mat was impressed with the Cervo Rosso Strada full zip jersey that he tested back in the summer, and now with the temperature plummeting as we careen into winter, I've been testing the Cervo Rosso Strada CX long sleeve jersey.
Zoca Active Long Sleeve Active Top
There's definitely a time and a place for skin-tight Lycra, but for riding around recreationally, pedaling to the gym or down the shops, it can feel a little bit, well, skin-tight! The Long Sleeve Active Top from Zoca is designed to be a more general fitness top, for all sorts of activities, rather than an out and out cycling top, but still technical enough to be suitable for vigorous pedaling if you want.
The first thing I noticed was the style of this top. Yes, that IS important, and especially in a more casually-styled garment.
Altura Night Vision Long Sleeve Jersey
This is a long sleeve, mid-weight garment made from practical and hardwearing polyester that continues Altura's reputation for good quality, affordable performance apparel. Our red/black sample cut a dash through gloomy October skies while efficient moisture management ensures a dry inner climate. That said, extending the scream out loud reflectives around the side panels would be a definite plus for negotiating unlit crossroads.
