What are the chances of this happening? A Trek road bike stolen from Lance Armstrong's Mellow Johhny's bike shop in Austin, Texas, was found at a flea market in Mexico and returned to the shop – three months after it went missing.
Livestrong goods to go global with Nike
Lance Armstrong is to take his Livestrong product line global, according to Nike, which makes the famous yellow bracelets and other goods.
The line, which now includes clothing and other accessories, will arrive in international stores this July.
Since releasing the first product in 2004, Nike has donated 100 percent of Livestrong goods to Armstrong's charitable trust. With the new international strategy, Nike has shifted the funding model to a flat guaranteed annual donation.
Lance Armstrong auction: Damien Hirst 'Butterfly Bike' goes for $500,000
The Damien Hirst-designed ‘Butterfly Bike’ ridden by Lance Armstrong during this year’s Tour de France was the star lot at Sotheby’s in New York last night, the hammer falling at half a million dollars.
As well as the Hirst bike, which Armstrong rode on the Champs Elysées during the Tour’s final stage, six others used by Armstrong during his comeback season were also auctioned, raising $1.3 million for the Texan’s Livestrong charity.

Cycling fans with deep pockets will be keeping a close eye on proceedings at Sotheby’s in New York on 1 November when seven Trek bikes used by Lance Armstrong’s bikes during his comeback season this year, including six customised by some of the world’s leading artists, go under the hammer.
And the seventh? Well, you may just have heard of this one… it’s the Time Trial bike that was stolen and subsequently recovered in the Texan’s first race this year, the Tour of California.

Lance tweets for more ride partners – this time in Dublin
Lance Armstrong has been at it again, tweeting himself up some ride partners – this time in Dublin. Traffic police and rush hour drivers in the Irish capital, not exactly noted for its free-flowing traffic, will be on high alert especially as this time Lance has given potential rider partners a whole day to get organised for it.
Lance Armstrong touches down in Scotland and invites everyone out for a ride – 300 turn up
Lance Armstrong last night used the power of Twitter to invite scottish cyclists, and anybody else who's in the area to join him on a bike ride and at very short notice 300 turned up to join him for a ride.
A few hours after issuing the invite, Armstrong tweeted the meeting point and start time – noon from the Ashtree House Hotel, 9 Orr Square, Paisley. As it turned out he was running a bit late… he tweeted that too.

The Live Strong chalkbot is a fantastic thing. It's such a good idea that I thought it was a viral hoax, and even as I'm writing this I'm half convinced that I'll be denounced as a gullible fool. But the folks in the video are so earnest, and the chalkbot itself looks like such a Heath-Robinson contrivance that I can't believe it isn't for real.
