This is a solid, easy-to-use chain drive for a Campagnolo 11-speed chain, which comes with the rivet peening function you need and also, as a bonus, four spoke wrenches.

When you put a Campagnolo 11-speed chain on your bike, you first press the connecting rivet (or 'pin' if you prefer) into the link, snap the end off, then you have to 'peen' it – flatten the end off a touch by squashing it down to prevent chain failure. This last bit is something that you don't have to do with a Shimano chain, for example.

The Lezyne Stainless 20 multitool is a high-end choice with most of the features you're likely to need out on the road.

The range of tools is exactly the same as you get with the Lezyne CRV-20 that we've also tested recently (the list is down below). Alongside the usual Allen keys and both flathead and crosshead screwdrivers, you get a couple of open ended spanners (8mm and 10mm), a tyre lever and a Torx (T25) wrench (although I have nothing on any of my road bikes that requires one of those).

This is a very good CO2/mini pump that'll get both Presta and Schrader inner tubes up to high pressures – although you'll need to take preventative action to avoid problems if you use Presta valves with removable cores.

Lezyne make some excellent workshop tools and this CNC chain whip is certainly a first-class option.

It's built to be very tough and durable. The handle, which fills your palm so you get a firm grip without it digging in, is made from CNC-machined aluminium while the business end is heat-treated steel plate – precision stamped and CNC machined. Four meaty bolts hold the two ends together firmly. The whole thing is 33cm (13in) long so you get a whole lot more leverage than with most other chain whips.

The Lezyne Carbon-10 multitool is seriously light yet it manages to pack in most of the key features you need to get home should you suffer a mechanical out on the road.

Those sideplates are structural carbon fibre rather than alloy with carbon over the top, and the bolts are titanium – this thing really is as light as it looks.

Like many cyclists, my Sunday mornings usually involve packing the car in the pre-dawn chill en route to the far corners of the country for some race or other. I'd dearly like a van but I have to make do with a 10-year-old Corsa packed to the gunnels with bike, spare wheels, tools and enough food to survive a minor environmental disaster. Space, it goes without saying, is at a premium, and this is where the Lezyne Travel Floor Drive comes in.

The Lezyne Micro Floor Drive HPG (with Gauge) is basically a miniature track pump that sits on your bottle bosses. It'll raise a 700x23 from zero to 120psi in just 158 strokes and three minutes while the gauge seems accurate to within three psi. But be careful of accidentally depressing the bleed valve when unscrewing the hose if you are using it with a Schrader valve.
