KCNC
KCNC RBS Pro Aero bars
Most of KCNC's kit is feathery weight-weenie-type stuff, but this set of extensions feels solid enough, and isn't going to break the bank either. And it's still fairly light to boot.
KCNC SC Bone flat bar
Another impossibly light unit from KCNC, this flat bar weighs in at a barely believable 119g. The Bone is constructed from T-7451 Scandium alloy, is 600mm wide and comes in standard and oversized clamp diameters.
KCNC Road Brake
These are the lightest brake calipers we’ve ever reviewed – by a long way – but they’re not the most powerful.
Light? How does 82g (for the rear) grab you? To put that it perspective, it’s about half the weight of Shimano’s top level Dura-Ace.
KCNC Knife pedal
Conceived as ultra light flat pedals for road riders who choose not to ride clipless, the KCNC Knife pedals are an interesting proposition. Primarily aimed at urban commuters finding the interaction between traffic, lights and clipless pedals (or toe clips) too perilous, but who want more security of foot placement than is offered by plain flat pedals without the additional weight of studded MTB flats.
KCNC Bar ends
Bar ends are a great addition to any flat bar set up and even the heaviest ones don't add much weight to your bike. These impossibly light KCNC sticks do the job just fine, look a bit flash and are more robust than you'd think.
KCNC K-Type compact chainset
Compact chainsets are all the rage amongst the sportive set these days and if you're looking for something a bit special then this super-light unit from KCNC is certainly worth a look. We've had some issues with clicking from the cranks on our set, the source of which we can neither find nor completely cure, though extended fettling has rendered it less of a problem.
KCNC SC Wing stem
It's hard to make a Carbon stem as stiff as an alloy one at the same weight. It gets harder when KCNC are knocking out units like this that are sub-100g and are still plenty stiff. Some of that weight saving comes in the form of some rather fiddly bolts so there's a bit of an ease-of-use trade off
KCNC SC Force handlebar
KCNC are best known for their super-slinky drilled out bits but the SC Force handlebar is a simpler beast, a fairly standard road drop made from T-7451 Scandium alloy that's light and comfy, and not too pricy either.
