Winter Project - Part 4 – It's Finished, It Could Be The Start Of Something Beautiful

And finally. It is done. The last pieces of the puzzle quickly greased and slotted into place whilst “Four In A Bed” was on. Seatpost, bars and stem all from the same manufacturer, collar and cuffs people, collar and cuffs. 3T supply the Dorico Pro seatpost, Arx Pro stem and shallow drop Ergonova Pro bars with a nice flattened top for gripping and chewing on. Rumours that they were chosen for the fact that their simple black and white graphics matched the black and white theme of the bike are pure conjecture. Ahem.

Winter Project - Part 3 - Pausing, Stopping And Going.

There’s been a bit of a stutter with the project, just like all projects seem to suffer, shuffling all the parts together, waiting a bit, getting distracted by other stuff, but the hiemal grip is still tight and cold and dark so it’s still officially a Winter Project, and there’s still a lot of time to be spent hiding in the shed for while. “Strictly…” may be over, thank God, but “Come Dine With Me” seems to be on constantly, Lord save me.

Hope Vison 1 LED Front Light

Price:
£90.00

Hope's Vision One is a self-contained wire-free light with a claimed output of 240 lumens from a single, large LED emitter. Hope's reputation is built on CNC machining things out of lumps of aluminium, so it's no surprise that that's exactly how the Vision One is made. It's rather nicely done, too, with a ridged outer surface, laser-etched logos and a choice of colours. It's quite large but not all that heavy, with a claimed weight of 110g (not including batteries).
