Gloves
Sugoi Firewall GT gloves
The Sugoi Firewall GTs are well made windproof gloves that are really comfortable in cool weather.
They're mostly nylon with polyurethane in there to provide windproofing – and they do keep the cold air out well. They're water-resistant too, although not waterproof; your hands will get wet if it rains hard during your ride.
Louis Garneau Mondo gloves
These Louis Garneau Mondo gloves offer very comfortable gel padding and good ventilation for hot summer weather.
One of the main features of the Mondo gloves is that they keep your hands cooler than most. That's largely down to the centre of the palm being a mesh panel that Louis Garneau call the Ergo Air Zone – a small window in the Amara synthetic leather. There are also lots of vent holes in the palms, most of them going right through the gel padding.
Castelli S Rosso Corsa glove
The Castelli S Rosso Corsa gloves are a neat, well-ventilated option for summer riding.
Extremities Super Windy gloves
While not cycling specific, the Extremities Super Windy glove has a lot of the features you'd look for to keep your paws warm on winter rides. Designed as a more general outdoor and walking type glove, the Super Windy is a windproof softshell type with an insulated interior for maximum warmth.
SealSkinz Handlebar Mittens
SealSkinz Handlebar Mittens are really well made and they provide lots of warmth for winter riding.
FS Giordana Body Clone Bibs, Prendas mitts, Band on adapter
Giordana Body Clone bib shorts size large, black colourway. Worn once for a training ride (and washed obv), just too big for me. Immaculate condition other than a very minor rub on the inside left thigh. I paid £90 for these and I'm asking £60 posted.
Prendas Track Mitts / Summer Gloves size medium, black / yellow colourway. Brand new, never worn. Too small for my paws. Currently selling on Prendas for just under a tenner, I'd like £6 posted please.
Band on adapter for a 28.6mm frame, black, new and unopened. £5 posted please.

Road cycling gloves
Hi All
I am a MSc student studying performance clothing development.
A friend of mine in the sportswear industry has suggested a need for the development of road cycling gloves with high visibility, to help when hand signalling at night / poorly lit conditions.
Gore Bike Wear Phantom II women's gloves
These are designed as a pair of go-to riding gloves for the whole autumn-spring period, and as they are made from a windproof and water repellent soft shell fabric, they're a versatile choice for all but the very coldest weather.
The Windstopper soft shell fabric is designed to be water repellent as well as windproof, and it does just what it’s supposed to, yet actually breathes enough to prevent hands becoming too sweaty. It’s a durable, soft and comfortable-to-wear fabric, and it looks smart too.
Prendas Ciclismo Super Roubaix Glove
The Roubaix fabric of these comfortable gloves gives you enough feel to tinker with a troublesome mech by the roadside while providing you with excellent protection from sharp spring and autumn chills.
These are perfect for those rides when it’s too chilly for mitts yet too warm for full-on winter gloves. The outers have a Lycra-like texture and short but very effective cuffs that keep the draughts off your wrists. Scotchlite logos on the backs ensure your hand signals are clearly visible to other traffic without cluttering up the design.
