£2,000 carbon road bike that's been redesigned for even greater stiffness

FS Giant TCR Advanced 2 2011 Size M/L

Bought a year ago and been in my house (pi**ing my girlfriend off) ever since.

Work and life has gotten in the way of this bike ever being ridden. Selling it before it loses any more value.

Absolutely mint (spec as per sold), never been ridden. Fully built and checked by a Cytech trained mech before I took it home. Assuming if you're reading this you know how good this frame is. Multiple award winning - I rode it at a Giant Industry Test day and fell in love. Smoothest, most comfortable racing ready frame I've ever sat on.

RRP Was £2250 - currently cheapest on web: £1550

Giant TCR1 Compact

Price:
£1175.00

The TCR 1 is the middle bike in Giant's aluminium TCR range - not to be confused with the carbon TCR Composite, TCR Advanced or TCR Advanced SL bikes - all of which are built around the same frame and fork package. The entry-level model is the Shimano Tiagra-equipped TCR 2 (£990) and top of the pile is the TCR 0 (£1,500) which comes with mainly Shimano Ultegra components.

Giant TCR Advanced 2

Price:
£2250.00

We’ve been surprised by the Giant TCR Advanced 2. In a good way. To be honest, I was expecting a solid, workmanlike machine, but not necessarily any fireworks. Something that ticks all the boxes, covers the bases, does the job… but perhaps not with a great deal of flare. What I got is a fast and lively bike that’s smooth-riding too. It’s right up there among the best in its class.
