I bought this frame off a police stolen goods auction 5-6 years ago

Great condition, clearly hardly been used by the original owner (see photo of the drop outs) and for me it was a project that never got off the ground (back of a cupboard since).

Shimano Hollowtech triple chainset
Alu seatpost and Fizik saddle

And what does "lifetime" actually mean? Does anyone offer a lifetime transferable warranty on a carbon frame? Care to share experiences trying to claim on carbon frame warranties?

This is a very light, very strong & very stiff road frame by Quest of Harrow. It comes complete with a carbon fork (uncut!) & Campagnolo Chorus headset. The tubing is light, strong & stiff SC7 butted Scandium, still the preferred choice of many top riders.

Size is 'Small' but see the diagram for more size details. The frame is in very good condition, with just one minor blemish on the top tube which you won't see when riding the bike. The frame has never been ridden – an unfinished project that I didn't complete.

Solid, dependable lugged steel frame made from Deda CroMo tubing.
Horizontal dropouts, twin bottle bosses, braze-on front mech mount, unicrown fork with threaded steerer (got a threadless adapter if you need it), clearance for muddies and up to 28c tyres. Comes with 1'' Shimano Ultegra sealed headset & Oval seatpost. There's an Isis BB fitted but I can be remove it if not needed. Italian thread BB shell. Top tube length is 52.5cm c/c. Seat angle 74°.

My question is about upgrading a road bike. I intend to buy a fairly old road bike (gt force with that different frame shape around seat tube). Here's the deal, it is quite cheap and it comes with shimano 105 groupset (which I believe is good bargain for the price). Is that simple to upgrade the frame? You go buy a frame transfer all other components and that's it?
I hope I didn't make a mess out of it.

Here for sale is my beloved 2009 BMC Racemaster SLX01 frameset, its 58cm.

Its a great stiff frameset thanks to the aluminium bottom bracket trident, and comfort is ensured with the carbon arc. Its 50/50 alu/carbon I think, a real efficient & fast frameset, never raced, and not done that many miles. Also has internal cabling which finishes the whole frame off... nice!

Hi all. The roads around (far around) where I live are pretty dreadful, and the Fuji Team Pro I have is faithfully transmitting every single jolt, bump and surface imperfection straight through my wrists and teeth. To that end I'm considering purchasing the Trek Domane 6 series as a frame only. I've already got a full Ultegra setup on my Fuji, and an FSA carbon crank on my tri bike (with Ultegra otherwise).
