Decathlon

Decathlon Shoes

Is there anybody out there who is familiar with the Decathlon home brand's Cycling shoes:

B'Twin Road Caycling shoes 9

After trawling both the internet and my LBS, they seem like a relative bargain, what with their carbon sole and ratchet mechanism.

I thought that I would ask the largest cycling fraternity that I know of, the Road.cc forum.

I hope that you're not bored of these questions.

Round up 25/02/2010

With no specific theme for my latest blog, I thought I would round up some of the recent goings on in my world and planet cycling.

Thankfully after singing their praises, Decathlon came good with their delivery and I am now proudly donning a Bell Crossfire helmet, just in time for the upcoming trip to Girona for a bit of pre-wedding cycling action in the mountains.

In homage to Decathlon...

Having just placed my first order on their new online service I am possible tempting fate by writing this piece but I just wanted to say how much I love Decathlon!

Some cycle snobs may think this statement is mental but I have nothing but praise for them in general and even in a cycling context.

Forget the clothing that keeps me warm in the winter and cool in the summer, although that is most welcome.

Decathlon Replica 700 road shoe

Price:
£59.95

Decathlon’s R700 are ideal for wallet conscious racers or those looking for a high performance training shoes. Compared with the latest generation of shoes dripping in carbon composites, they seem technologically modest with their mesh and faux leather uppers but this is largely forgotten aboard the bike, where the performance outstrips the price.
