My transport plans have gone awry for next weekend's Yorkshire Weaver in Skipton, so was wondering if anyone would be able to fit one man and his bike in/onto their car? The earliest train doesn't get into Skipton till 9:30, so that's not viable, and b&b's etc seem to be full.
I could be picked up either from Bury/Rossendale (where I live) or Wetherby near Leeds/York (where my parents live). I'm doing the 98 mile route so riding to Skipton first isn't ideal!
Just looking to see if anyone has an entry to the Tour of Flanders Sportive that they will not be using.
Happy to pay full price obviously + a sensible admin charge.
" Please note: Postal notifications of the outcome of your Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 ballot application will start to arrive from the 7th of February and certainly no later than the 15th of February."
Nothing in the post from them for me today.
The Rawlinson Bracket ride is a hilly ride in the ‘Wilds of Warwickshire’ taking in the gradients of the Edge Hill escarpment. This ride marks a year since a close friend of ours, Nick, passed away in his sleep on the 24th of February 2012, aged 30.
This event has two objectives - the first is to raise funds for research into, and awareness of, Sudden Adult Death Syndrome (SADS), the second is to allow you to experience the type of riding that Nick enjoyed with a passion.
