One season ends.....

Went to the last club tt of the season. Not done much this season, two hilly's and a two up. This was my first and last chance at the standard course. About to set off from thr club house and the heavens opened. Riding to the start felt OK but getting cold in the rain.

It's fitted with a mix of 105 and Tiagra, shifters and front mech are Tiagra.

It's got Scott own brand fiinishing kit and the Alex rimmed wheels it came with, I've changed the saddle to a Rolls which is a bit old and it's now got road tyres.

It's har two or three gentle cross rides teh rest of the time it's been used for commuting, I'm looking for £300 plus carriage or sensible offers.

Back In The Game

A few 'cross rides in now and the legs are used to going round and round and round again, the long slow drag up to where I once was is hard. There have been tired legs, there has been 'I used to be able to ride twice as far as this', there has been effort and reward. But it is now time to step up to the plate and get back on the road bike and an easy group ride with friends offers the perfect opportunity. A gentle ride along the coast taking in The Best Bit Of Tarmac Ever, turn round for home the pretty way via a pint in the pub.
