Major upgrade for Cyclepedia iPad app (+ video and screenshot gallery)

The Cyclepedia iPad app, first unveiled last year and which builds on the book of the same name to showcase the collection of bikes amassed by Austrian designer Michael Embacher, has had a major overhaul, with 26 new race and track bikes added as well as 85 cycling jerseys and five video clips of Sir Paul Smith talking about cycling culture, as well as other new video content.

Cyclepedia makes the transition from the printed page to iPad app - and it's stunning

If you've read our recent Christmas Gifts for Cyclists feature on cycling books, you may already have mentioned Cyclepedia by Michael Embacher in your letter to Santa; now, however, you can also purchase it as an app for the iPad, should you happen to own one, at a cost of just £6.99.

Cyclepedia - new book showcases fantastic private bike collection

If you like poring over pictures of stunning bikes, your cravings may be temporarily satisified with the publication next Monday of a photo-rich book that really should be sold in the proverbial brown wrapper. Cyclepedia – A Tour of Iconic Bicycle Designs, features nearly 100 bikes from the Embacher Collection.
