Cycle
Staying visible!
Okay, so my girlfriend is worried about me being hit by a car and wants me to get some sort of high vis top whilst cycling. She suggested a high vis sash
, I refused
. I use a front/rear light combo everytime I'm out. I was thinking of getting a fluro top (do these only really work in dull light or will they be good in summer too?) but wondering if I'd be better off with a bright coloured top (red or something) Suggestions/advice welcome and any ideas for tops to get.
Cheers
Bicycle Film Society August Show Monday 13th - BMX film Rad
The Bicycle Film Societies August show will be the cult BMX movie Rad whose reputation has only be enhanced by its extreme rarity having never been released on DVD and only released as a video in the states. Although it bombed commercially this film had a significant impact on the BMX scene and contains some amazing freestyle riding scenes.
Is anyone actually riding today?
So, I went out this morning on my dad's mountain bike to watch an air sea rescue taking place in the North Sea. Helicopters and stuff...
Anyway, the wind there was proper ming, but on the way back I didn't pedal at all, the wind pushed me along all the way home.
Has anyone else ventured out today? I was thinking about going with the wind up the coast, and getting someone to pick me up when there, I reckon it will be a quick one, what with the 40 knots of wind.

Tactics for Hillingdon
Just wanted to know what people's tactics were for Hillingdon Cycle Circuit.
I normally try and breakaway at the bell, but it hasn't worked yet.
I lack an amazing kick, but can usually weed out the weeklings on the ramp to the line if you're going anticlockwise.
Oh, and tactics for the windy bit if you're going clockwise.
Thanks.
