Following on from my previous post asking about Cube Agree frames I have more questions relating to german bikes. I quiet like the look of Ghost bikes and Canyon Ultimate cf or al, but don't know much about them. Anyone got any experience? My concern with buying from the internet is that I am new to road bikes and don't want to make a stupid and expensive mistake going for one of them when I could just go the easy route and buy a Specialized or Cannondale?
Im looking at upgrading my bike in the next few months and I know a lot of people will ask the same question ‘What bike should I go for?’. Im just looking to see if anyone has experience of these bikes and any feedback.
I got this bike on the NHS cycle to work scheme, and I only picked it up last weekend (Friday 20th July to be exact!) from Climb On Bikes, Hereford.
This is my first road bike (after mountain biking for the best part of 18 years), and to be honest I really don't get on with road cycling, so I'm selling it in order to pay back my cycle to work loan, and then get myself another mountain bike!
Received this email today....may interest some of you..
to be a VIP doesn't cost much....
We are excited to present you with a very, very exclusive 'first dibs' offer on a range of heavily discounted Cube bikes!
All of these Cube bikes have been used as display models at shows around Europe and we can now offer them at an incredible price. Some do show signs of aesthetic damage i.e bumps and scrathces, but the bikes have never been ridden.
All the models listed below are a once only deal as we only have 1 (YES 1) of each and they will not be available again!
so, the time has come to step up a level in the road bike world for me. Im after a better spec bike and ive got a budget of £1500.
Ive seen the Cube agree 2012 model with the ultegra groupset and im very, very interested.
Im not sure what to go for, the triple or compact. It may be time for me to step up a level in terms of bike spec, BUT, what do i actually need?
I'm in the process of searching for a road bike to upgrade from existing hybrid. Does anyone know how the size of cube bike frames compare to other manufacturers? I have read in other forums that the frames are smaller for some reason. I am 6'2" with 34" leg and have the option of a 58cm cube agree but it's an online deal so can't test it out beforehand and have no idea whether that is the right frame size for my build!
