Build

Hi all. The roads around (far around) where I live are pretty dreadful, and the Fuji Team Pro I have is faithfully transmitting every single jolt, bump and surface imperfection straight through my wrists and teeth. To that end I'm considering purchasing the Trek Domane 6 series as a frame only. I've already got a full Ultegra setup on my Fuji, and an FSA carbon crank on my tri bike (with Ultegra otherwise).

I would like to build a road bike from scratch but not mould the frame. My reasons for doing this are to a] get another bike b] learn about the bike & understand all of its parts c] while away any spare time & not have to converse with others d] third point is a joke. Any tips will be gratefully received.

So having had my bike stolen ive gone and spent the insurance on (hopefully) all the required components to build one myself!
Planet x Carbon frame and largely 105 gruppo, Just before i begin wondered if you guys had any top tips or tricks that i may not get from books/online help? Anything appreciated! Cheers
