Cheshire Mini Sportive Sunday 17th February

Welcome to the Cheshire Mini Sportive (last year known as NW Winter Sportive). This year we have two great routes 30 miles and 60 miles around the Cheshire Plains. Both routes have been designed by experienced local club cyclists and will ease you into the new season. Both routes are relatively flat with just a few bumps in them to keep it interesting Starting off once again at the Poynton Leisure Centre the riders will head off round the Cheshire plains. There are no big climbs, most of the route is relatively flat or undulating roads.

I have been wondering - if you could have a perfect bike shop what would you in a perfect have it be able to do

We are currently working on developing a bike shop, among other things. Not your normal shop we think. We are not just into road and Etape riding but also do urban freestyle trials, flatland BMXing, check out concrete circus on C4 Parkour yes I know its not cycling but we are not completely cycling. Being active is our core USP. We even have a version of a Boot Camp for cyclists among other things.

On 10th April, five friends will leave Norfolk for Lands End in Cornwall, where they will start a 500 mile bicycle ride back to Great Yarmouth in support of the Mayor of Great Yarmouth’s Charity Fund.

Giving themselves seven days to attempt to cycle from the most westerly part of mainland Britain, Lands End, back to Great Yarmouth via the most easterly part, Ness Point in Lowestoft.
