When used alongside a Kurt Kinetic turbo trainer this computer is able to give you a power measurement plus a whole load of other performance information.

It’s able to do this because the trainer is engineered to be consistent. The resistance is exactly the same every time you get on, regardless of temperature, so you can get comparable results from one session to the next.

Mavic’s top-level computer provides you with heart rate and altitude data as well as your speed and distance measurements, and downloading all the information to your PC could hardly be easier.

Conceived as an entry-level wireless computer for riders entering the sport either to benefit their health and fitness, or to have a smaller environmental footprint, the Velo Wireless + is a nicely thought through computer with some interesting features.

It's a couple of years since I looked much at bike computers but as I'm getting a new bling bike I might take the chance to put a new computer on as well.

Currently using a Polar 725X, which is one of the watch-style ones that goes around a mount. I don't really need that style, it was just what they had at the time - I'd prefer a stem mounted fitting.
