Hello,

My question is about upgrading a road bike. I intend to buy a fairly old road bike (gt force with that different frame shape around seat tube). Here's the deal, it is quite cheap and it comes with shimano 105 groupset (which I believe is good bargain for the price). Is that simple to upgrade the frame? You go buy a frame transfer all other components and that's it?
I hope I didn't make a mess out of it.

Hi guys

I currently ride a Charge Filter Mid 2011, which is effectively a cross bike. I have come to realise that the groupset is pretty poor (Shimano 2300) and also fancy another bike for "nice weather" so that I can keep the Charge as my winter/training bike.

What do you think of these? It’d be used for club runs/sportives.

I'm selling my 105 rear mech. It was taken from a brand new bike and has only been ridden 15 dry miles before being replaced with a long-cage one.

The mech's in excellent condition (it's still got the luminous packing grease on it). The only blemish is a tiny cosmetic scratch on the underneath which you can see in the picture to the left of the cable clamp. Jockey wheels, spring etc. all like new. Cheers.

I recently broke down my old winter bike as some parts were beyond use.

Ultegra chainset has surface scuff marks (just the lacquer had come off - see pics) otherwise in perfect working order and does not effect the performance what so ever.

For sale is my 2011 Specialized Tarmac Comp size 54cm.I have owned the bike since June last year and am now selling due to a lack of space. The bike has been serviced regularly and is in very good condition. All the spec is original except a brake upgrade, the brakes are Ultegra 6700 series which cost £100 and are mint. On the bike are a brand new set of Specialized Espoir Elite’s worth £50. Included with the bike are a set of red Schwalbe ultremo zx tyres. They’re not new but are great tyres for the summer.
I don’t mind shipping the bike (uk) and will charge £60 to do so.
