Pearson Cycles launch All Mod Cons allroad and gravel bike

London-based Pearson Cycles has launched the new All Mod Cons road and gravel bike costing £1,400 designed to tackling everything from road to cyclocross to gravel rides, with clearance for up to 46mm tyres.

The All Mod Cons is designed to be a versatile bike. “The aim of this bike was to be able to adapt to different disciplines of cycling without compromise in performance, versatility is the name of the game,” explains the company.

Aluminium is used for the frame, with a triple butted top and downtube and an oversized head tube, while the rear stays are flattened to provide a bit of compliance. There’s a carbon fibre fork and 12mm thru-axles at both ends with flat mount disc brakes. There are mudguard mounts for winter riding and racks can be fitted too.

The £1,400 gets you a Shimano 105 groupset with a compact chainset and 11-32t cassette, TRP Spyre C mechanical disc brakes (shame not to see hydraulic discs like those on the Ribble CGR), Fulcrum Racing 7 wheels with Continental Ultra Sport 25mm tyres - we’ll presume Pearson will happily swap the tyres for whatever sort of riding you intend to do with the All Mod Cons. The finishing kit is all 4ZA equipment.
