QM Sports Care antifriction cream
This cream is thicker than most - the consistency is a lot like Vaseline - but it's easy to slap on to your skin or the pad of your shorts, and once applied it stays put.
This does exactly what you want a chamois cream to do - prevent rubbing and the nasty consequences thereof, such as raw skin, saddle sores, and other cyclists' nightmares. And it's still going strong at the end of a long weekend ride.
There's rosemary and tea tree oil in the mix, both of which have antibacterial, antiseptic and antifungal qualities, and all the other ingredients are natural too; it's castor oil and beeswax based. It doesn't smell strongly - we're getting just a hint on that tea tree in the bouquet, but nothing too major.
Apart from that, there's not much else to tell. It works. It's natural. It's a reasonable price.
Oh, actually, there is one other thing... Whoever it was at Qoleum who decided to put the Antifriction Cream into the same size and colour pot as their Extra Hot Embrocation needs to buck their ideas up pretty sharpish. I didn't... but it was that close!
