At road.cc every product is thoroughly tested for as long as it takes to get a proper insight into how well it works. Our reviewers are experienced cyclists that we trust to be objective. While we strive to ensure that opinions expressed are backed up by facts, reviews are by their nature an informed opinion, not a definitive verdict. We don't intentionally try to break anything (except locks) but we do try to look for weak points in any design. The overall score is not just an average of the other scores: it reflects both a product's function and value – with value determined by how a product compares with items of similar spec, quality, and price.

This is handy – everything you need to fix a puncture in one little pack. You get an Air Rush Regulator CO2 inflator that allows you to control the airflow with the twist of a little wheel, two sturdy tyre levers, and two threaded 16g CO2 cartridges. There’s also a rubber sleeve that you fit over the cartridge to stop your fingers from freezing and a bunch of glueless patches.

It all works exactly how it should, the zipped pouch is easily small enough to fit into a jersey pocket, and it’s padded so it’s perfectly comfortable. Plus, there’s enough space in there for a couple of emergency extras like a small multi-tool and a stash of cash. £30 is quite expensive but having everything in one place is really useful – you’ll never find yourself rooting through your pockets on the roadside only to find you’ve left something vital at home. We like it a lot.
