Leekygas Cannondale, followed by the Movistar Dogma.
Does that mean i win one?

I voted for the Pinarello, but I'd like to change that to the Wilier Zero 7 of Lampre-ISD - but only in the colours in your 2012 feature!

Personally I like the Cervelo S5

Katusha Canyon, followed by Liquigas-Cannondale.

The cannondale wins it for me
It's never too late to become what you might have been...............

It has to be the Euskaltel Euskadi Orbea Orca GDi2 for me but there are some very good looking bikes there

Liquigas-Cannondale, Omega Pharma Quickstep Specialized is a close second though!
All the gear and no idea!

Movistar's Dogma - paintjob outclasses Sky's and its Campy equipped.

In the absence of a Colnago (hint to the UCI if they kick Saxo out) I think it's the Orbea for me
posted by Simon_MacMichael [4410 posts] 10th February 2012 - 22:13
Although the Saxo Bank mount is decidedly invisible, its clearly all about the S5, even if it does have nasty shimano componentry
Aldecycle - Its all about my bike

Katusha's Canyon bikes definitely. has anyone else seenm their new tt bike, it's really cool.

Definitely the Ridley Noah FAST, probably followed by Katusha's Canyons, then BMC, GreenEdge? That feels like i leaving out so many nice bikes though. Anyone for ag2r?

Movistar Dogma it is for me. Followed closely by the Ridley, Orbea & Bianchi

For me it's the Omega Pharma-Quickstep. I love the way the thingy and the wotsit combine to create a beautiful machine.

That made me chuckle.
My preferences:
BMC, FDJ Lapierre, Orbea Orca

Gotta be the Canyon. Understated and slightly evil looking with the Katusha colours. Plus no weird looking bends or crazy zigzags. The Cannondale's are lovely bikes but just not in those *bleuch* Liquigas colours...

Euskaltel-Euskadi for me, love the orange flashes, quite like the paintjob on the Movistar Dogma (wouldn't usually be my sort of thing either), finally need to vote for the Lapierre as I also ride an Audaccio

Easier to pick out the mingers than the winners, tight at the top.
Downhill bikes don't make you cool.

Cofidis Look 695 SR (assuming Continental teams are ok here). Beautiful bike, and it really looks beautiful with their new kit, too.
But let's face it--the bike would be gorgeous if they wore denim.

My picks for ugliest bikes:
Canyon—they have the worst decals, bar none. I'd rather walk.
Cervelo—I'm sure it's fast, but those lines have no elegance.
Trek—I fall asleep just looking at it. How hard wou...zzzzz

Who could say no to a bike in celeste? Still faithful to Giants though.

1st: Bianchi
2nd: Bianchi
3rd Bianchi
Wish they'd do an Oltre Celeste, though - pure, uninterrupted (except by a logo) celeste... Mmmm.... that's be worth robbing a bank/selling your granny/remortgaging for
Liking CyclistAtLarge's hate list too! The Cervelo gets my vote...

Another one for a Cannondale.............
posted by antride [1 posts] 16th February 2012 - 3:06
my vote for best looking bike would be with either the Cannondale or the Canyon. traditional(ish) tubing look and geometry paired with deep section rims, they look the shiz.
posted by velorunner [2 posts] 16th February 2012 - 9:40
That BMC looks good, colour is great, no crazy wobbly forks and stays which is a definitely plus point, not ridiculous flouro green (Cannondale, what ever happened to taste, remember the Saeco bikes, best kit ever - but the 'Dale is at least a nice looking bike colour excluded), the Bianchi, yep, colour is niceish, but the top tube looks like the back of a dog taking a dump (as does the Venge), but the silly little rear stays on the BMC is problematic.
So therefore, actually I have to say, (quietly) I don't like any of them.
Clear to me that manufacturers are making changes for changes sake. I'll stick with my Moots Vamoots RSL, now there's style for you !!!

The Orbea is my pick.
Yet again all these bikes by far more prettier and hotter than those girls in the Swimsuit Issue 2012
