I've three and a half at the mo. :
Two mountain bikes, a road bike and the frame of my old Klein Mantra hanging on the wall as 'art'.

...if by 'own' you mean 'ride' 3.5 (.5 = half a tandem)but if 'own' involves maintenance and upkeep - then its none. On the otherhand if 'whats his is mine ...' etc. its more like 'infinity' as the bits get changed so often on his can they really be the same bike from one week to the next ... ?

The way I see it, we are a bit like custodians, good bikes get passed on to hopefully interested parties!
