Sunday Munch information

When is the event?

The Mountain Mayhem Sunday Munch Sportive is on Sunday 19 June 2011. The start will be open between 8am and 9am.

Where is the event?

The sportive is located at the Mountain Mayhem festival, Eastnor Deer Park, nr Ledbury, Herefordshire. More information about the Mountain Mayhem festival can be found on the official website.

What facilities are available on site?

The festival has free camping available to all sportive participants for the whole weekend. There are toilets and showers, an event village with food and drink stands, first aid and massage.

What's included in the entry fee?

The £23 entry fee for the event includes

Entry to the sportive to ride either route (65km or 110km)
Electronic timing chip for your ride
Feed stations en-route
Official ride photographer
Goody bag including a quality event T-shirt, Original Source shower bag and shower gel, Science in Sport bottle and SIS bar
Free camping for you and your family at the event all weekend
Entry to the Mountain Mayhem event village all weekend

Registration

Participants must register at the road.cc tent before the start of the ride. Registration will be open on Saturday afternoon and Sunday (7am to 8am). At registration riders will receive their rider packs containing rider numbers, timing chips, cable ties, backup route map & safety information.

Entries will be accepted on the day subject to availability.

Starting and Finishing

The start will be open from 8am to 9am. Please make sure that you ride over the timing mat at the start and end of your ride to ensure that ride is timed correctly. At the finish you'll receive your goody bag and we'll post the times on the road.cc website as soon as we have them.

Mechanical information

You should ensure that your bike is in good working order and that you carry equipment to deal with minor mechanicals such as punctures or loose components. If you suffer a major mechanical failure we will ensure that you and your bike make it back to event HQ!

Food and drink

There will be two food stops on the long course and one on the short course. Each will be stocked with water, energy drinks, SIS energy products and snacks. You should use the food stops as a backup and carry enough nutrition to ensure that you can complete your ride.
