Trek has opened the UK’s third Trek Bicycle Store in the Tiso Glasgow Outdoor Experience, a centre dedicated to all things outdoors. It will house the largest selection of Trek and Bontrager products in Scotland, with over 70 bikes in store.

The 2,500 square foot store, situated in Glasgow's Townhead area, will offer customers the chance to see the full range of Trek bikes, accessories from Bontrager, Project One, and bikes for children. There will also be a dedicated fit studio to ensure your new bike fits you correctly.

They will also have a range of bikes available for demo riding so you can try before you buy. Plus, they have Bontrager wheels to try.

Bryan Shedden, Director of Alpine Bikes, believes that the store opening will be welcomed by the Scottish cycling community.

"We're excited about the opening of this store," he said. "It will showcase Trek's extensive range of bikes, clothing, and equipment to the growing number of Scottish cyclists.

“This shop will have something for every type of cyclist, from a kid's first bike up to top-end road bikes for competing at the highest level."

The store is open seven days a week. Find out more, including contact details and directions, at www.alpinebikes.com.

Funny that the article is using future tense, i'm pretty sure the shop has been open for a couple of months now

I don't really get this either. Alpine Bikes has been there for years. I got Bontrager shorts there over a year ago. Is the news that they no longer sell anything else?
