Fantasy Giro is open... and you could win a Bryton GPS worth £199 just by entering!

There'll be some super prizes for actually doing well once you've entered, as well...

It's less than a month to the start of 2013's first grand tour. Excited much? We are! The Fantasy Giro d'Italia is open for business as of today; that means you have three whole weeks to tinker with your squad. And to tempt you to enter, we'll be giving away a Bryton Rider 21 GPS to one lucky player, just for picking a team!

There'll be some great prizes to be had for actually doing well, too: finishing first, winning stages, that kind of stuff. But first up is a Bryton Rider 21T package.Equipped with all the same great features as the Rider 20, the Rider 21 includes a barometer that shows real time altitude for added training information, increased log history capacity and an improved screen. You also get 3 customisable data screens with masses of various data options. The 21T package includes a HRM strap for recording your heart rate, and a dual speed/cadence sensor. Bryton's web service has come a long way since we tested the 20, too, and now offers easy upload to third party sites such as Strava as well as a bunch of tools of its own.

That package would normally set you back £199.99, but we've got one to give away for free, and all you have to do is enter a Fantasy Cycling team for the Giro d'Italia. You'll need to be a registered user on the site, and once you've sorted that out it's just a case of heading over to fantasy.road.cc, setting up your account, choosing the Giro from the Competitions menu and picking a squad. Once you've confirmed your nine riders, you're in the hat!

There's three weeks to go before the race starts, so we don't have the full startlist yet, but there's already a healthy number of riders available to pick and we'll update the game regularly before the race kicks off in Napoli on 4 May. You can keep track of who's in and who's out by subscribing to the roster changes thread on the forum. If you're logged in, just hit the Subscribe button at the top and we'll email you the changes. You can make as many changes to your team as you like ahead of the start; after that you get a limited amount of transfers every day to tweak your team.

Good luck!

I'm betting on Hesjedal to retain the jersey.

(Yeah, right.)
