Spin London Schwag part 1: we have a winner!

We've picked a winner in the first of our urban cycling schwag grabs...

We have a winner for the first of our Spin London Schwag Grabs, that lucky person gets tickets to London's first urban cycling show and some very lovely Michaux Club Leather Bar Tape AND a Bike Parka to protect his or her steed should they need to park up up outside for any length of time. And the winner is…

lolol

He or she has been contacted - can't help thinking a text would have been most appropriate - and some tickets to the show will be heading his/her way.  If you missed out this time, don't worry we've got a LOT more Spin London Schwag Grabs on the way between now and show time on May 3rd.

You can find out more about Spin London which runs from the 3rd to 5th of May at the Truemans Brewery in Brick Lane at the bottom of this story or by visiting their website www.spinldn.com.

=======================================================================================================

There's a new bike show in town that's all about riding in town, Spin London takes place from May 3rd to the 5th in the old Truman Brewery on Brick Lane in - you've guessed it - London. We're proud to be supporting the event and to celebrate we'll be running a series of Schwag Grabs in the coming weeks featuring prizes donated by some of the exhibitors we've got lots of prizes to give away and some rea; corkers kicking off with the super-lovely, super-bling Michaux Club Gold leather bar tape just comment in below and it could be yours. Every winner gets a ticket to the show too so you can pick your prize up in person if you want.

Michaux Club's designer Rachel is best known for her range of waterproof leather urban cycling bags, but she also makes this very fetching leather bar tape with integrated reflectives in a range of colours including gold… every hole punched in Hackney by Rachel herself.

If you're pushed for space and sometimes need to keep your pride and joy outside the BikeParka is a godsend for protecting it from the elements we reviewed it waaaay back in December 2011 and it's fair to say we really liked it.

The show will feature bike brands, and urban bike clothing and accessories, Vulpine, Singular, Donhou, Farirdale, Road Rags, Tokyo Fixed, Foffa, Ally Capellino, Carradice, Bike Parka, Milk Bikes and Miltag are just some of the names that'll be there, You can find a full list of Spin London Exhibitors at www.spnldn.com … there's a lot of them.

That's not all, the show will also feature frame building demos, roller racing, talks, exhibitions, food, drink and DJs.

We'll pick our first Spin London Schwag Grab winner on Tuesday (usual Schwag Grab rules apply) and we'll have another Spin London comp going live the same day.

Tickets for Spin London are £10 on the day and can be had for as little as £5 if you take advantage of their early bird offer… but you'll have to be quick.

No thanks, count me out, it's horrible bar tape. It looks like the shit of a man who's swallowed his hoard of gold bits to hide them from the nazis.
