Train with Marco Pinotti in Ashdown Forest

If you’ve ever fancied life as a professional rider, Cadence Cycling Performance Centre is offering you the chance to give it a go on a training weekend next month with pro riders Marco Pinotti and Matteo Carrara.

The Performance Weekender is designed for everyone from sportive riders to triathletes and competitive road racers. You’ll go on three rides in Ashdown Forest, East Sussex, with a support car, groups allocated according to fitness levels.

As well as the riding, you have the opportunity to do a physiological assessment at Cadence Cycling Performance Centre, Southeast London, some time in the weeks leading up to the event.

You’ll also get post-ride massage, a technical seminar, and a presentation on training and racing as a professional from Marco and Matteo. Marco, who races for BMC, has won two individual stages and two team time trials in the Giro d’Italia, while recently retired Matteo has raced each of the Grand Tours.

Accommodation is at the four-star Ashdown Park Hotel, and you get use of the on-site spa and health club.

The Performance Weekend runs from 5pm on Friday, 12 April to 5pm on Sunday, 14 April. Book before 24 March and it’s £495; it’s £549 if you leave it until later. Non-riding partners are welcome at a price of £270.

For more info go to www.cadenceperformance.com or call 0208 676 8825.
