UCI Track Worlds screened live on BBC Two starting this afternoon (full guide to coverage)

GB men qualify second fastest for this evening's team pursuit final against familiar foes Australia...

The BBC will be screening live TV coverage of all evening sessions in the UCI Track Cycling World Championships, which have started in Minsk, Belarus, today and which see British Cycling consign last summer’s triumphs at London 2012 to the past as it focuses on the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio.

Because the event will be televised live in the UK, viewers here won’t be able to watch the racing on the UCI’s YouTube channel, which will however be available to fans in countries where the world championship isn’t being screened live on TV.

Coverage starts on BBC Two at 4.45pm this afternoon, with events to be decided including the men’s kilo and team pursuit, and the women’s individual pursuit and team sprint. The event will also be streamed live on the BBC website, and highlights will be available on BBC Red Button, with full details below.

This morning, the Great Britain quartet of Steven Burke, Ed Clancy, Sam Harrison and Andy Tennant qualified second fastest behind rivals Australia for this evening’s men’s team pursuit final.

Here's the full programme for the event, together with BBC timings.

I imagine UCI will have it available to watch on YouTube afterwards (as with CX Worlds which is all up there), just not while live coverage going on.

British Cycling has a link to the UCI video feed on its website... but if you click on it from the UK, it's geoblocked.
