Not really news as such, but Team GB's A-list were at Manchester Velodrome when we were at the Boardman launch. Sadly we didn't get to talk to them as they're much too focused, but we thought you'd appreciate a bit of footage of them all ranting round at twice the speed mortals can manage.
That's fast
Hoy was quick, but he wasn't really trying - dunno if that was something to do with his training schedule. Victoria Pendleton though - sadly I didn't get any video of her but she was insanely fast, and so close to the motorbike that any kind of misjudgement would have meant a massive stack. Honestly, she was about 3 inches away from the back wheel. Madness.
looks like on of Take That during their later grungy phase. Er, so my wife tells me.
