Neutral service provider Mavic is offering one lucky cycling fan the opportunity to be as close as possible to the Paris-Roubaix action without actually riding over the pavé yourself – a seat in one of its cars during the race dubbed the Hell of the North on 7 April.
Mavic says that the prize includes travel to the race, which starts in Compiègne, some 75 kilometres north of Paris, hotel accommodation, and dinner with the Mavic neutral service team on the eve of the Queen of the Classics itself.
Entry via the Mavic website is open now to residents of the European Union and United States, and closes at 11am GMT on Monday 4 March (it's not a road.cc competition, so comments below won't get you entered).
This video from Mavic gives an insider’s view of their work on what is invariably their toughest day of the year.
I'm in......Would love to win this. PLEASE pick me....PLEASE
Schwag - pick me!
Dodging the saccadic masking
Very funny. Hope it doesn't encourage anyone who gets so excited they don't read the article closely enough

Well, that was kinda the point. Less real entries = more chance for me!
