Bianchi unveil Vacansoleil-DCM Oltre XR
A bit of bike porn to start the week
Bianchi Oltre XR Vacansoleil DCM 2013 4
Bianchi have revealed the Oltre XR bike that World Tour team Vacansoleil-DCM will be riding next year, and here it is in all its finery.
Of course, we’ve already reviewed the bike, although we had it in a different build.

The Oltre XR is a monocoque carbon frame designed for all-out performance and developed with input from Vacansoleil-DCM. It combines UMS40 and CN60 ultra high modulus carbon fibers. Bianchi reckon it’s 30g lighter than the previous generation Oltre and 20% stiffer. The official frame weight for a 55cm model is 895g (+/- 5%).

Team riders, including Belgium’s Thomas de Gendt who finished third overall in the Giro d’Italia this year, will use a 2013 Campagnolo Super Record EPS groupset, combined with FSA K-Force chainset and new SL-K brakes.

If I guess the price can I have one?

Pretty handy spec. Looks boss in those team colours too, I think we have an early front runner for smartest looking frame on the tour with Lampre taking a shocking nosedive from the awesome Zero.7's and Cento1's in their neon livery to those Merida things.
Carbon fibre doesn't really turn me on, I normally reserve my lust for 80's steel.
I'll make an exception here.
Just a beautiful work of art, livery and bike in total harmony. Apparently the ride isn't too shabby either!
Just an all round marriage wrecking material - damn you Bianchi!!!
Not usually a major Bianchi fan, but that bike is stunning. Just wish they'd done the bar tape in the dark blue colour (top of the down tube), rather than the greeny blue colour.
Still, an easy change for anyone who can afford to buy one.
