Here at road.cc, we like to look after the whole cyclist - mind, body and spirit, and that's why we bring you exclusive Yoga For Cyclists.

Yoga instructor Karen Burt won road.cc's Tony round to the art of yogic poses when he realised her lap times seriously trumped his - and he's been sold on it ever since.

Yoga's great for relaxing, strengthening and easing muscles, particularly in classic problem areas like the quads, hamstrings and hips. Ideally it should be practiced regularly alongside your regular training.

Karen's a great teacher for even the entirely uninitiated, having studied under the world renowned Yogi Mukunder Stiles, from the Yoga Therapy Center in California.

Need more convincing? Here's an introduction from Karen:

Be great if you could make it easier to find the rest of the yoga videos.

For those who are also having trouble follow the link at the end of the article to the video page, and then click on the 'Fitness' tab on the far right of the grey navigation bar.

The tags (yoga, yoga for cyclists, yoga video) don't work.

Whinge over - really looking forward to watching these videos.

I was about to buy a book on this very subject, I had no idea these videos were available. Thanks!

If the bicycle was invented tomorrow, it would be seen as the solution, not the problem

Any idea when you can make your video content available for iPads?

I'm loving these videos, particularly as I've done something nasty to my knee and the gentle stretching is helpful. What I'd love to see is a 20 minute daily or pre/post-ride routine linking all the different exercises together. I have a couple of non-cycling specific pilates routines I downloaded from itunes but something more targeted would be great. It'd definitely be worth a few quid for a download.
