Velosolutions bike fit sessions later this week

Now's the perfect time to get your set-up perfected

Bike fit specialists Velosolutions now have a new fitting studio in London and their next fit sessions are later this week.

The new venue is Energy Lab which is based at 2-8 Scrutton St, London EC2A 4RT. That’s close to Shoreditch High Street tube station. The October fitting dates are from Thursday 18th until Saturday 20th.

If you’re a competitive rider, the start of the off-season is the perfect time to have your ride position assessed and altered. It means you’ll have plenty of opportunity to adapt to your new set-up before you start racing again. And if you’re in the market for a new bike, having an assessment before you splash the cash makes a lot of sense in order to make sure you get the right size.

If you want to know what’s involved, check out our article – including a video – from a couple of years ago. road.cc's Mat was impressed and immediately felt the benefit. He’s been using the same bike set-up ever since.

Guiseppe Gainnecchini heads over to the UK from Italy to perform bike fits every few weeks, so even if you can’t make it this time, maybe you can in the future. Check out the Velosolutions website for the details.

Mat has been in cycling media since 1996, on titles including BikeRadar, Total Bike, Total Mountain Bike, What Mountain Bike and Mountain Biking UK, and he has been editor of 220 Triathlon and Cycling Plus. Mat has been road.cc technical editor for over a decade, testing bikes, fettling the latest kit, and trying out the most up-to-the-minute clothing. We send him off around the world to get all the news from launches and shows too. He has won his category in Ironman UK 70.3 and finished on the podium in both marathons he has run. Mat is a Cambridge graduate who did a post-grad in magazine journalism, and he is a winner of the Cycling Media Award for Specialist Online Writer. Now over 50, he's riding road and gravel bikes most days for fun and fitness rather than training for competitions.

Hi All

Giuseppe here from VeloSolutions, please note I have not worked from Le Beau Velo for over 5 years now. I have been contacted by many customers who have attended Le Beau Velo for a fitting since I left, customers who thought they were going to be fitted by myself to same standards as when VeloSolutions was working from Le Beau Velo.

When I controlled the fitting of these riders at my new studio at Artisan Cycles I found they have all been incorrectly fitted. It appears to me Le Beau Velo is trying to live off the back of my professional reputation and is offering anything but a professional bike fitting service.

Thanks Giuseppe
