Lezyne introduce RAP 7 LED multi-tool with integrated light
It's a multi-tool that incorporates a 1 lumen LED to help you fix stuff in the dark

At the Cycle Show yesterday Lezyne showed us their brand new RAP 7 LED multi-tool, featuring an integrated LED light. Is it the first multi-tool to combine a light? We're certainly stuggling to think of any others out there.
The LED light uses four teeny AG1 batteries to power it, and clamps to the 5mm Allen tool with a small ball bearing holding it in place. Switching the light on is simple a case of rotating the body until the 1 lumen LED powers into life. Burntime is 3-4 hours.
The rest of the multi-tool is more standard with stamped aluminium sideplates and double bent tool bits so there's a centre pivot axis to rotate the tool on. There are seven tool bits, a 2.5, 4, 5 and 5mm Allen tools and a Torx T25 and Phillips head screwdriver.
Do you really need a multi-tool with an integrated LED? Well, we can possibly see the potential for making it easier to work on your bike if you have a mechanicla while cycling along a dimly lit city road or dark country lane, and it could save eating into the burn time of your main light.

at least you can see where it is when you inevitably drop it into the verge
Not a bad idea, but having it able to fix to either side of the tool would be more useful, I think. That way it could be left on the multi tool whilst it's in use, lessening the risk of losing the light/having to find somewhere to hold it.
(If you have to hold the light anyway, where's the advantage over taking one of your front lights off and using that...?)

nice but I think you can buy an LED keyring torch from a pound shop and continue to use your existing un-illuminated tool.
Pretty silly, yet strangely novel. Guess what our non-cycling friends will be putting in our xmas stockings?
I carry a little LED 'camping' head torch (bought from Lidl for peanuts) for roadside repairs. Much more convenient than having it attached to the tool you are using or requiring a third hand (fourth for some jobs

See, now that's a good idea. I find holding my cree torch in my mouth more than a little difficult when changing a tube in the dark.
