Street trials supremo struts his stuff Stateside

Scottish street trials ace Danny MacAskill is back with a new video and this time the setting is San Francisco, the West Coast city providing a backdrop every bit as spectacular as that of Edinburgh, which featured in that video that first propelled him to fame. As usual, MacAskill runs therough his repertoire of tricks and makes them look absolutely effortless... so sit back and enjoy.

Born in Scotland, Simon moved to London aged seven and now lives in the Oxfordshire Cotswolds with his miniature schnauzer, Elodie. He fell in love with cycling one Saturday morning in 1994 while living in Italy when Milan-San Remo went past his front door. A daily cycle commuter in London back before riding to work started to boom, he's been news editor at road.cc since 2009. Handily for work, he speaks French and Italian. He doesn't get to ride his Colnago as often as he'd like, and freely admits he's much more adept at cooking than fettling with bikes.

Danny is a truly inspirational individual and completely down to earth, a great role model.

Along with our great clean road and track riders and guys like the Athertons they should be put up there for "the youth" to take a leaf from.

Danny looks like a fine tuned athlete these days and trains very very hard on the bike and in the gym.

Big up Danny, big up The Athertons, Big respect Conehead...

Superb. 4
