Second Trek Bicycle Store for the UK

New Trek and Bontrager-only store will open in Coventry

Trek have announced a second Trek Bicycle Store in the UK. It's in Coventry and it'll open next month.

Trek Bicycle Coventry will be a retail concession of 3,230 square feet located within the new Leekes home department store in the Gallagher Business Park. Access looks good; it's near junction 3 of the M6 motorway next to the Ricoh Arena. It's close to several towns in the West Midlands and Birmingham is just down the road. Doors are set to open on Saturday, 22 September.

Trek Bicycle Coventry is the second retail venture for Andrew Hutchings of Cotswold Cycles, which is based in Moreton-in-Marsh, Gloucestershire.

The UK's first Trek Bicycle Store opened in Milton Keynes last year. Both Specialized and Giant also have their own brand-specific stores.

"The timing is right given the recent triumphs of British cycling athletes on the world stage, and we fully expect more people to take up cycling as a result," said Nigel Roberts, General Manager of Trek UK. " Trek Store Coventry is poised to facilitate getting more people on bikes, with a high level of service."
