Turbo tips and Kent riding laid on by Cadence Cycling Performance

If you fancy learning from a legend of British cycling, get down to Cadence Cycling Performance Centre on Friday for a training tips session and ride out with Roger Hammond.
Third in Paris-Roubaix back in 2004, Hammond rode for Discovery Channel in 2005 and 2006, Team High Road in 2007–2008, Cervélo TestTeam in 2009–2010, and Garmin-Cervélo in 2011. He will be answering questions about his time in pro cycling over a cup of tea in the morning, before leading a turbo trainer demo and handing out training tips.
After lunch, load up with energy products courtesy of Cadence and head out into the Kent lanes for a few hours with Roger to put it all into practice, then back home for a hard-earned tea and debrief.
As a former team-mate of Mark Cavendish, Roger is considered one of the best bike handlers in the country, with a career that saw him win stages of the Tour of Britain and twice take the UK road race championship.
The day costs £170 and is based out of Cadence HQ in Crystal Palace.
Book a place here.
That's not Roger Hammond is it?
Well spotted! We like to keep you on your toes
Now that's Roger Hammond!
Who on earth wrote this?. To my knowledge, Roger Hammond never rode the Tour. Not once. He is certainly not a "veteran of the Tour".

You could mention that he beat me in a cyclocross race the same year he won the Junior World Cyclocross champs.
That should bring the crowds..
