Fantasy Cycling: TDF stage 4

Cav hits the deck in Rouen, silas chime hits the front in the Fantasy Tour...

There will have been a whole heap of Fantasy players cussing under their breath yesterday as Cav went down in the melée before the line in Rouen. Not to worry though, he still managed to pick up 14 points thanks to his intermediate sprint and position in the green jersey standings. So he wasn't a dead loss.

Even so, if you wanted the big points yesterday it wasn't Cav you wanted. Team Atalms Frekke Klumper pretty much nailed it, picking Greipel, Goss, Veelers and Sagan and backing that up with five scoring domestiques: Morkov, break-merchant Arashiro, Cantwell, Boeckmans and Izaguirre. That netted them 202 points, a country mile clear of It's all about Wiggo..... with 180 in second place. So it's user Atalm who scoops the stage prize, an Altura Ergofit Gilet worth £44.

In the overall silas chime has been there or thereabouts for  most of the race. 141 points yesterday was enough to move up seven places to top spot; Relentless Rouleurs had a pretty average day with atound half that total, and dropped to tenth. It's all still very close at the top...

Purists? Still cavalry trouser tips. Only by one point now though.

Today's stage could net you a Cateye Yellow Strada Wireless Limited Edition computer worth £49... it's flat today so expect a big sprint come the afternoon. good luck!
