Friday Schwag Grab Blackburn Flea lights: we have the winners!

It's back! the nights are drawing in so grab yourself some cool lights.....

Tiffin has been taken, the random number generator fired up and the big red button pressed. So it's time to announce the winners of this week's Schwag Grab. And they are (drum roll)...

Congrats to the lucky winners and commiserations to y'all who missed out. Next week: some natty pedals!

[here's the original story]

The Schwag Grab has been away for a bit but now it's back! And this week we've got five sets of Blackburn Flea front and rear lights to offload on you lucky chancers courtesy of our pals at Madison.

If you haven't seen the Flea lights before, well they're mad clever: the lights are rechargeable and the come with a little charging unit that attaches magnetically to any standard AA battery: they work with rechargeables too.

Once they've had their fill they'll run for between 3 and 12 hours, depending on mode, before you need to top them up. And they only weigh 17g each, so even the most stringent of racing snakes should be okay with them.

The rules are as usual: just comment on this story to be in the hat. No multiple posts please. We'll draw the winner on Friday at about tiffin-time. Mmmm, tiffin.

Great idea, but do they work with rechargeable AA batteries, seems to imply one needs to use disposable alkaline batteries? Surely this needs changing?

Anyway, nice to see someone doing something different.

My son has just (quite suddenly!) gotten into cycling and is awaiting his new Rock Lobster bike (after riding his dads Kona for a while) I think these lights would be perfect for him!

Blackburn Flea come to me
Welcome as a cup of tea

Light me home on dark nights
Stop me from car collision frights

Do not encumber me with weight
And get left behind by my speedy mate
