Fantasy Cycling: Giro stage 2

Flat and fast... who would you pick?

Well there was the expected carnage on the run-in, and Taylor Phinney survived a crash and mechanical 8km from the end to stay in pink, but the day belonged to Mark Cavendish who edged out Matt Goss in a repeat of the World Champs sprint to take the stage. It certainly wasn't as easy a day for scoring as the first stage, but that didn't stop some of you posting some impressive totals.

Top of the pile were Wheeler Dealers, who managed a full house of scoring riders including a 1-2 from Cav and Goss to rack up an unassailable 154 points, ahead of Team Haus Maus and Another Bunch of Losers on 153 and 145 respectively. so it's user Petz2023 who picks up the day' stage prize, which is a Lezyne Steel Drive floor pump worth £44.99 from the nice chaps at Upgrade Bikes.

Another great showing from PATHETICO ATHLETICO (11th equal) means that they keep the overall lead from yesterday, with Fitzhugh RC heading up the purist competition

More Danish flatness today, will Cav make it a double in Denmark or will he be beaten to the line today? Or perhaps a break will go out and stay out? We'll find out soon.
