Who hit the nail on the head in Herning?

It makes for pretty free scoring in Fantasy Cycling when the riders that say they're going to show up and put a shift in actually do so. Taylor Phinney was busy tweeting the sequence of corners on Friday and that homework paid off with a great win in Denmark, with on-form Geraint Thomas and local boy made good Alex Rasmussen making the podium.

Top of the pile yesterday were PATHETICO ATHLETICO who not only had those three but four of the next five as well: Boaro, Larsson, Pinotti and Navardauskas. Can't really say fairer than a 1-2-3-4-5-6-8 pick on the first day. That made a total of 217 points, enough for fifteenth place on the overall top score leaderboard and also enough to bag a Lezyne Carbon Pressure Drive mini pump worth £64.99! CC d Foxacion were second on the day with Milk Snatchers in third.

The race stays in Denmark today with a flat and windy loop around Herning - will more of the Danish contingent strike out for a breakaway win on home soil? or will it all end in a bunch sprint and inevtiable stack on the tight right-hander 500m from the finish? We'll see. Whatever happens, good luck!
