So, a couple of days to catch up on in Fantasy Cycling... Stage two, where it was Peter Sagan who proved the strongest on a difficult uphill finish to the Wadi Dayqah dam, and today's downhill stage back to the sea, which saw Marcel Kittel outsprint Andre Greipel, although the Belgian did have the consolation of re-taking the overall lead.

Wednesday saw team Flahutes top the stage table with an impressive 181, thanks to a double whammy of Sagan and Greipel and good supporting work courtesy of Bouhanni, Sutton, Navardauskas and Gallopin. Team CarabelliConZoR, team VC Fail and team riccoriccoricco all tied for second on 165.

That big score was enough to catapult team Flahutes 13 places up the leage to the very top spot. And an astonishing 211 points today - third overall on the stage, which was won by team TurningSquares with a mighty 217 point haul - was enough to keep them there after stage three. Team Mikaela (182 points today) and Joe's Rouleurs (208 points) stay in overall second and third places respectively. In the purists league team tommeke wat doe je nu, who won the first stage outright, keep on racking up the big scores; 192 today jumps them 4 places to the top of the pile, with overnight leaders team Champions losing 5 places.

That's Green Oil Eco-Rider kits for our stage 2 and stage 3 winners slh40 and Jamespion then. Team Flahutes have built up an impressive 35-point lead but it's going to be the transfers over the next couple of days that decide who's going home with the win. Tomorrow's stage is a classics-y up-and-down kind of a day, with ample opportunity for a break to stay out or some of the big sprinters to fall off the back. After that it's a day with a summit finish, the Green Mountain at 1,265m is a proper summit too. Expect the GC riders and tough-as-nails all rounders to shine there.
