howies track day schwag: we have a winner!

Is it going to be you hitting the boards on 20 Feb? Find out here...

Ahem. Apologies for the late running of this schwag service, it was delayed by, erm, leaves on the internet. Or something. Anyway, here we all are. Happy Valentine's day.

Well, it certainly will be for user pjt201 who's the first name out of the hat for this particular schwag. And by lucky hap he's only down the road from Newport velodrome in Bristol, handy! Sorry if you didn't get picked this time but there's more schwag in the offing, so keep coming back!

------------

Fancy a go at track cycling? howies are off to the Wales National Velodrome in Newport, south Wales on Monday 20 february for a morning on the boards, coached by the pros from Welsh Cycling. And you could join them! We took part in a similar day before Christmas with Geraint Thomas and had a cracking time, so we can recommend the whole Newport track experience very highly.

We've got two spots for one lucky road.cc reader and a friend up for grabs. You can learn how to pedal the boards at one of the best indoor tracks in Britain and howies will provide all the equipment you’ll need; all you have to bring is your legs (and something super-tight to ride in). This is a competition open to anyone who wants to have a go, you don't need to be an experienced track rider. If you go to the howies facebook page you can enter the draw to win a place there too - why not double your chances?

Usual schwag grab rules apply, and winners will be announced on Thursday 9 February. Good luck Obviously we can't post a track day to you, so you'll need to be available on 20 February and able to get yourself to the Newport Velodrome for 10.30am. Head on over to the howies facebook page for the full T&Cs, which make for slightly scary reading...
