The Passoni stand is always one of our favourites at Eurobike. You can more or less guarantee they'll have some of the nicest looking bikes in the big hall, and that's up against some pretty stiff competition. We had a nose round on the Saturday, and here's what we saw.
The new Lightsteel model uses Columbus XCr stainless steel in custom-drawn profiles: what got our Tony excited was the little on-trend green details to the wheel dropouts and especially how the main graphics in polished steel are reversed out of the black paint which is somewhere fashionable between gloss and matt. Nice.
The tube-to-tube bonded carbon Nero frame has a frame finish we describe as 'coffee' with matching details to the 'bars and rims. It's certainly a looker but not as stunning as the Top Force titanium frame which for 2012 has a tapered headtube and internal routing for the Di2 cables.

Dave is a founding father of road.cc and responsible for kicking the server when it breaks. In a previous life he was a graphic designer but he's also a three-time Mountain Bike Bog Snorkelling world champion, and remains unbeaten through the bog.
