Geraint Thomas' jersey schwag… We have a winner!

Worn in Gent-Wevelgem and signed by the man himself – this is a real one-off

We got all excited about the Tour last week and neglected to pick a winner for our most excellent schwag prize of a signed National Champion's jersey from our man-on-the-inside at the tour, Sky's Geraint Thomas. Wiggo's wearing the stripes now after his win in Newcastle, but this jersey, worn by Geraint at Gent-Wevelgem, is a true one-off piece of cycling history. And it's going to...

Liquorice!

Well done you, and sorry to the 600-odd folks that missed out. More chances to win Geraint-Thomas-themed prizes coming up real soon!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It's the National Road Race Champs this year just outside Newcastle-upon-Tyne, and Geraint Thomas will be there to try and retain the jersey he's been wearing for the last year. G's been wearing the stripes with pride  – along with keeping down a part-time job as road.cc's Fantasy Cycling pundit – and he's racked up some impressive performances. And we've got one of his National Champion jerseys to give away!

Yup, an actual National Champion's jersey, worn by the actual National Champion. This one's from Gent-Wevelgem, where Thomas took Boasson-Hagen's place but didn't have the best day at the office after he was taken out by an FDJ rider with 40km to go. You can still see the mud on the back of the jersey from the incident (it had been washed, mind!) and G's race number, #93, is still pinned to the back. Oh, and he's signed it too. And there's a signed postcard to go with it. Not bad, eh?

To be in with a chance of winning, all you have to do is comment below and you're in the hat. Assuming we don't forget like we did last time, we'll do the draw next Wednesday. Usual Schwag Grab rules apply. You can find out more about what Geraint's up to on his website www.geraintthomas.com and you can follow him on twitter @geraintthomas86 worth going there for his profile pic alone.

Good luck!

This is clearly the closest I'll get to a National Champion's Jersey - it might inspire my sons to get closer still, though !

Would it be frowned upon to wear it on the trip down to the shops?
