Got a Lemond trainer with a big fan? Make the most of it...

"Yeah, but can Mark Cavendish do this?", asks Olympic-gold-medal-winning triathlete Simon Whitfield. The two have a lot in common, according to this vid. Cav's won Giro d'Italia stages, Simon's been to Italy. Cav's won Tour stages, Simon's been to France. They both own a Specialized Venge Di2. But Simon's got another trick up his sleeve, thanks to his Lemond turbo trainer and its beefy fan...

It's a cracking party trick. Can Cav do it? no doubt, although with the tour looming he's probably got other things on his mind. Certainly it'd be interesting to line Simon up against Cav and see who could get their castle up the quickest. My money's on the Manxman. Against pretty much anyone...

Dave rides all sorts of bikes but tends to prefer metal ones. He's getting old is why.

That is pretty cool.

When I had mine on the turbo I used to latch bits of material on the spokes to create drag and that would whip up a fair bit of air (as well as making the turbo session harder) 4

Some creative multitasking Simon. Training at the same time as spending time with the kids. Good effort.
