Like your bike but feel there’s something not quite right about it? Could it be the cables? Is their unadventurous silver colour just not doing it for you? You’re in luck; you can now kit it out with Teflon-coated coloured cables from KCNC, available in a range of different shades.

They’re stainless steel cables with a “Nano Teflon” coating – everything has gone nano lately. It's a dry, solid lubricant coating to reduce friction inside the cable housings. Wet lubricants are not recommended here.

The cables are available in green, orange, pink, red, white and baby blue, and they come with matching alloy end caps. Pimptastic.

Gear cables are in stock now at £3.39 a go, and brake cables on their way. Get them at clee-cycles.co.uk.

With these colour coordinated cables I can at last attain contentment and be at peace with the world.
