Bella Ciao launch new flat-barred urban bike

Lugged steel Reporter available as a singlespeed or with hub gear

Bikesales4u have just launched a new urban bike from Bella Ciao called the Reporter. Handmade in Italy from double-butted Columbus cromo steel, it’s available either as a singlespeed or with an 8-speed Alfine hub gear.

With a horizontal top tube and slim tubes, the Reporter has a classic look. It’s a lugged construction while the quill stem and brown suede saddle from Selle San Marco add to the retro impression. Most of the components are polished aluminium, including the 28in wheels, Stronglight chainset, and Bella Ciao’s own flat bar.

The singlespeed model, which weighs 11kg (24.2lb), costs £949 with the Alfine-hubbed version coming in at £1,199. For all the details go to www.bikesales4u.com.
